CORE is not just another trend-driven group fitness studio. We are a unique, multi-modality movement space offering both group equipment classes and 1:1 instruction in three transformative methods: Classical Pilates, the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, and Redcord Suspension.
Our founder, Jessica Gowen, has 20+ years of experience teaching Pilates and has led studios across the city. She is also a sought-after teacher trainer.
While each method offers distinct benefits, they share common goals: building strength, improving mobility, enhancing balance & posture, and reducing stress. Many of our clients have been practicing for over a decade—and there’s a reason for that.

Classical Pilates
At CORE, we offer authentic Pilates, a 500+ exercise system executed on spring-based apparatus and floor mats. Our comprehensively-trained instructors use all of the apparatus (not just the Reformer) to provide you with the full Pilates experience, customized for your body.

The Gyrotonic Method
This system of weight and pulley-based equipment and floor-based exercise helps you relieve pain, boost athletic performance, and improve overall mobility and strength. It blends elements from yoga, dance, swimming, and tai chi with a focus on the spine and core.

Redcord Suspension
Redcord suspension training activates and strengthens deconditioned muscles through simple movements and a process called neuromuscular re-patterning. Using cords, bungees, and slings to both support and challenge you, Redcord offers a versatile, full-body workout.

Semi Private Lessons are group Pilates or Gyrotonic equipment classes. This format offers the perfect balance of personalized instruction and the energy of a small group setting.

Live Streamed and On-Demand Classes and Homework
CORE’s virtual studio lets you practice from anywhere. You’ll find a variety of formats, from 5-10 minute self care exercises to full-length Pilates Mat and GYROKINESIS® classes.
