The Gyrotonic Method is a powerful system of equipment and floor-based exercises that help you relieve pain, boost athletic performance, and improve overall mobility and strength. The method has two braches: Gyrotonic exercise, performed on equipment, and the mat- and stool-based work, taught in Gyrokinesis classes.
The method blends elements from yoga, dance, swimming, and tai chi to simultaneously stretch, strengthen, and mobilize your entire body, with a focus on spinal mobility and core strength.
While Gyrotonic exercise is not as well known as Pilates, our clients say they wish more people knew about it because of how strong and empowered they feel. They also say when they leave a session, the feel like they got a deep stretch, a massage and a workout, all at once.
